He, however, said that the party leadership will take a call on Parrikar’s successor in the State if the Centre calls the Chief Minister to Delhi.
When the media sought to know whether he would be one of the prospective BJP leaders to take over the CM’s mantle in the event Parrikar is inducted in the Modi Cabinet, Parsekar dodged the question, saying he has been a soldier of the party, having accepted many responsibilities in his political career.
