MARGAO: Trawler owners will take a call on the continuance of the ongoing indefinite strike based on the outcome of the proposed meeting between Union Agriculture Minister, Sharad Pawar and Union Petroleum Minister, Verappa Moily, with representatives of all India Fishermen scheduled on Wednesday at Delhi.
A delegation of boat owners from Goa under the banner of All Goa Fishermen Federation led by John Mendes met Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and impressed upon him that fishing activity should be excluded from the bulk-consumer sector.
