People looking for a change, unhappy with BJP: Cong

VASCO: A public election campaign meeting in Baina near Shafi Masjid by the Congress received huge response from the locals prompting Congress leader Sankalp Amonkar claim that the party would get a huge majority in Mormugao as “the people are looking for a change and are unhappy with BJP.”
At the meeting Amonkar, who is the Vice President of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, said that the campaign was receiving tremendous response even for door to door visit. 
“This being a first public meeting in Baina we have received a tremendous response which clearly shows that we will take a huge lead in Mormugao at the Lok Sabha elections. Besides, the MGP and NCP have extended their support making the election environment favourable to the Congress this time,” Amonkar said.
Addressing the meeting, South Goa LS candidate Sardinha urged the public to vote for the Congress.
