People of Goa and those who love it have decided to be the change they seek. In a manner which is completely humbling to Herald, there was an outpouring of empathy towards what Herald raised in its Open Edit on Wednesday, headlined “Let us change Goa together. For a people’s rule. For OUR rule”. Herald gave a call, on behalf of all of you, to be a soldier in the revolution for swaraj or self rule. While we have begun this mission and started planning to convert this dream into reality, the flood of letters, calls and text messages simply saying “go ahead, we are with you”, has flagged off this journey. An exciting journey, a long journey and a never ending journey which will outlive all of us. We devote our Citizens Herald page to a selection of your letters. Keep writing in and we will soon come back to you with a firm outline of how we shall take this mission forward.
