MARGAO: Benaulim MLA Caitu Silva has cried foul over the inaction by the Colva police and the flying squad into his complaint in respect to the construction of a road allegedly through the fields at Sernabatim-Colva.
He told the media that while the Colva police made their presence felt at the site and went away without initiating any action, the flying squad failed to respond to his plea for action till date.
“I had informed the flying squad about the construction of a road through the fields, but they have not bothered to visit the spot and inspect the site. The Colva police too did not initiate action on my complaint. A police team only visited the spot and went away without any action,” he alleged.
