Herald’s expose on the pictures allegedly showing Dudu having a drug-laced party has created flutters with Goa Police requesting to hand over the pictures for investigation.
Herald in its Saturday and Sunday editions also showed three alleged drug peddlers convicted in narcotics cases with Dudu, his sister Ayala and girlfriend Zarina.
Ayala and Zarina, who conducted the sting on Police Sub-Inspector Sunil Gudlar allegedly selling them drugs have been harping on Dudu’s innocence.
Deshpande said that Ayala’s conduct is also being investigated. “ The SIT (special investigation team) is conducting a holistic inquiry into the matter. Media should cooperate and hand over the documents and pictures regarding the drugs case to help in the investigation,” he said.
