Ravi: Sudin can be CM if he works for Bahujan samaj

PONDA: Former chief minister Ravi Naik criticized PWD minister Sudin Dhavalikar for his ‘dreams of becoming chief minister’ but doing nothing for the Bahujan samaj. Naik said there was nothing wrong in dreaming but Dhavalikar should first work for the Bahujan samaj and withdraw the recent amendment to the Tenancy Act.

He said MGP’s main plank was to handover land to the tenants and tillers and if this can be realized, then Dhavalikar’s dream could be realised.
He said that today’s MGP leaders are far removed from the party’s original ideology to free the Bahujan samaj from the clutches of the landlords.
Reacting to the comments, Dhavalikar said, he is not greedy for the chief minister’s post, and a national party had offered it to him. “I rejected the CM post because I am working for the cause of Bahujans and to retain the existence of Bahujan samaj and MGP.” He attacked Naik for leaving the MGP.
