Respect Women During Holi Celebrations, Appeals Goa CM Pramod Sawant

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has appealed to citizens to respect women while celebrating the festival of colours, emphasizing the importance of safety and dignity during Holi festivities.

Speaking at a Holi programme organised at Ravindra Bhavan, the Chief Minister noted that the festival in Goa has its own unique character and sees enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups, including a growing number of women in public celebrations.

He urged revellers to celebrate responsibly and ensure that women are treated with respect and honour while playing with colours. The Chief Minister also encouraged people to spread joy and positivity during the festival by “adding colour to the lives of others.”

Dr. Sawant attended the celebrations along with Sulakshana Sawant and joined local residents in marking the occasion. The event saw lively participation from the community, reflecting the festive spirit of Holi in the state.
