PANJIM: Revenue Minister Atanasio `Babush’ Monserrate on Monday warned that government officials, who are involved in fraudulent and illegal land grabbing cases will be taken to task while those who have acted strictly as per the rules should not be afraid of the inquiry.

Monserrate said that the government has now constituted State Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate and also to inquire into various complaints and registration of FIRs in all such cases and illegal land transferred by forging documents. 

Monserrate said, “Who should be afraid of this? The officers who have done fraudulent things should be afraid and they should be taken to task. Those officers, who have acted as per the rules should not be afraid of it.”
