MARGAO, NOV 4
Sanathan Sanstha has moved the South Goa Sessions court on Saturday seeking the release of the documents seized by the investigating agency during investigations into the Margao bomb blast case.
In another development, the Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) on Saturday moved the Sessions court for a certified copy of the chargesheet filed by the NIA against the accused in the bomb blast case.
The application for release of documents was filed by the managing trustee of Sanathan Sanstha Virendra Marathe. Sessions Judge U V Bakre has posted the matter for arguments on December 10.;
Judge Bakre on Saturday has also posted for December 10 arguments before framing of charge against the two accused persons, Prashant Juvekar and Prashant Ashthekar. The National Investigating Agency (NIA) had earlier this week filed a supplementary charge sheet against the two accused.
Meanwhile, Judge Bakre has posted for hearing of the bail application filed by accused Prashant Juvekar on December 10. The accused had filed the bail application on grounds that the 90 day period of detention had expired and the investigating agency had not filed the application for extension of the remand period.
The Sessions court on Saturday examined two more prosecution witnesses in the bomb blast case.
