Activist Sanjay Barde on Thursday slammed the Goa govt for imposing section 144 at Pernem. He added that the protests in Pernem have been going on for nearly four years but no local or taxi men have ever resorted to violence. Citing that Kadamba buses are the reason for the government’s financial losses, he questioned the need for deploying Kadamba buses at the airport when there are local taximen in need of employment.
