BICHOLIM: Vishnu Pandurang Sawant (45) of Sarvan Bicholim who accidentally fell into a 35-feet-deep well was saved by the Bicholim fire force. According to Bicholim fire sources Sawant had gone to fetch water from a nearby well late evening when he fell into it. Neighbours standing nearby threw a rope to him and informed Bicholim fire station. Vishnu caught hold of the rope and remained above the water until the firemen arrived.
