MARGAO: A two-wheeler rider from Curtorim succumbed to injuries after a speeding motorcycle collided with his vehicle at Chandor on Wednesday night.
The accident occurred opposite the house of one Dr Surendra Verenkar.

According to police, Joylan Marques from Amblimol in Guirdolim while travelling on a KTM Duke motorcycle, from railway gate in Chandor towards Cotta side, collided head on with an oncoming Activa scooter opposite Dr Verenkar’s house.
Scooter rider Alvino Dias from Zamgal in Curtorim suffered serious injuries in the accident. Alvino succumbed to the injuries while being shifted to Hospicio Hospital at Margao. Joylan Marques has been booked for rash and negligent riding.
