MAPUSA: Anjuna police on Tuesday busted a sex racket at Siolim by arresting two Russian nationals and rescuing three foreign tourists.
According to PI C L Patil, they received information from reliable sources that two persons are supplying girls for prostitution purpose.
Accordingly, PI formed a team and conducted a raid at Siolim and busted the racket. During the raid, police arrested two Russian nationals namely Visiliy Karavar (34) and Aonstanpin Morozli (36) and rescued three girls.
Police informed that police first arrested a pimp at Siolim and after interrogation they nabbed another person at Marna.
The girls have been sent to Apna Ghar.
The raiding team comprised of PI C L Patil, PSI Vishal Mandrekar, PSI Vishwajeet Chodankar and PC Vishal Naik.
