A short circuit triggered the fire which soon engulfed the entire storeroom. A cylinder in the storeroom exploded and two motorcycles parked near by were also destroyed, besides home appliances and other valuables. Margao Fire team led by Gil Souza fought hard to contain the fire.
Storeroom gutted in fire at Rachol
MARGAO: A storeroom attached to an under-construction house in Rachol Raia caught fire resulting in a loss of over Rs 5 lakh. Mangal Uttam shifted his goods and material to an attached storeroom before reconstruction of his house.
