MARGAO: With no water supply from Wednesday evening, the residents of Junta Quarters at Pajifond-Margao were sent scrambling to fetch water from outside their gates, with buckets and pots. The building’s motor pump was damaged due to power fluctuations, resulting in the taps going dry, said residents.
Frustrated residents berated the authorities for not repairing the pump in a timely manner. “Earlier, there were frequent water supply issues at Junta Quarters, but the PWD managed to replace the old pipeline and resolve the problem,” said
