Traffic diversion, road closure for Navelim Feast

PANJIM: The South Goa District Magistrate, Margao has ordered temporary closure of roads in view of feast of Our Lady of Rosary Church, Navelim, on November 20, from 4.30 hrs till 20.00 hrs and diversion of traffic till November 24.

PANJIM: The South Goa District Magistrate, Margao has ordered temporary closure of roads in view of feast of Our Lady of Rosary Church, Navelim, on November 20, from 4.30 hrs till 20.00 hrs and diversion of traffic till November 24.
Parking for 4 wheelers has been arranged in front of Rosary High School at the parking lot near football ground, along Sinquetim road and on to the field on northern side of Bank of Baroda.  Parking for two-wheelers has been arranged at the parking lot in front of Dream Centre Building, to the right of Vocational Institute of Rosary, on open field behind Jezuchea Koxttancho Khuris and in front of Government Primary School.
The roads leading from Goa Palace to Apeano Super Market, from Navelim Church junction to Konkan Railway road and from Navelim junction to Rosary High School has been declared as no parking.
The road i.e. Konkan Railway-Navelim Church near Government Primary School and the road proceeding from Navelim junction to Dongrim will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
Heavy vehicles traffic including trucks have also been diverted on November 20, from 5.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs, and between November 21 and 24, from 16.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs. Heavy vehicles proceeding from Cuncolim towards Margao will be diverted at Manu’s House, Jackniband via Mandopa and Rawanfond road to Margao.  Heavy vehicles proceeding from Margao towards Cuncolim will be diverted to Aquem Baixo towards Rawanfond junction via Gudi-Sarzora to Dandevadi Chinchinim on NH-17.
