MARGAO: The Margao Municipal Council’s tough talking on the maintenance of traffic islands, dividers and medians has worked. The maintenance of various traffic islands dividers and circles has begun.
The traffic island opposite Post office in Margao, Gogal traffic island and several others are being renovated and repaired.
At an earlier meeting, the MMC had strictly warned parties responsible for maintaining the traffic islands to get them repaired or face cancellation of their agreements.
The maintenance of Bolshe Circle has now been given to Credai due to the negligence of the former.
