PONDA: Two persons died in a car accident reported at Dharbandora on Tuesday night.

According to Ponda Police, the incident took place when driver Rajdeep Naik, a resident of Tisk-Usgao was proceeding from Usgao to Dharbandora, lost the control over the vehicle near Pilyem and rammed the vehicle into a tree. The impact was such that the driver and two others sustained injuries. Rajdeep and Sarvesh Gaude, a resident of Priol, succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at GMC while second car occupant sustained simple injuries.
