Two enumerators issued show case

The Salcete Mamlatdar has served show cause notices on two census enumerators for the delay in submitting the report on the census work.
Mamlatdar Paresh Faldessai served the memos on the two enumerators, with a copy to the head of the parent department for necessary action against the two employees.
Sources said though the one and half month long census exercise ended on May 15, the two enumerators failed to submit the report of enumerating the households to the Mamlatdar office. “Appropriate action will be initiated by the department against the two employees for the delay in submitting the

Meanwhile, Faldesai said the enumerators and supervisors engaged for the census work are submitting their reports from their respective areas after the May 15 deadline. “The process of receiving the census details is on right now. The entire exercise will be over in the next few days”, he said.
