PANJIM: Two Indians were on Saturday quarantined at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) at Bambolim for suspected coronavirus.
With this, total six people, all Indians, have been quarantined at GMC. Of these, the reports of three have been sent to laboratory at Pune, while of the other three would be sent on Sunday.

State epidemiologist Dr Utkash Betodkar said that total six people are currently quarantined at GMC.
“They were quarantined after they suffered from flue. All had travel history in those States, where there are cases of coronavirus outbreak,” he said.
He said on Friday, four people were tested negative and all have been discharged. The report of three is awaited, he added.
The doctor said that people need to take care as the viral fever is currently present in the State but it has nothing to do with the virus.
“Hand hygiene is something that people need to take utmost care,” Betodkar added.
