Woman dies of burns
CALANGUTE (HC): A 21-year-old woman died of burn injuries at the Goa Medical College hospital at Bambolim on Saturday.
According to Calangute police, Pooja Shekhawat, a native of Gujarat but residing at Cobravaddo-Calangute received serious burn injuries at her house on Friday.
She was shifted to the GMC, but breathed her last on Saturday.
The inquest will be conducted by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, while the investigation is being conducted by PSI Sherif Jacques.
