Woman charred to death at Chinchinim

In a tragic incident, a 70-year-old woman was charred to dead inside her house at Deussua-Chinchinim on Saturday.
The residential house where the deceased was putting up was also damaged in the fire.
The roofing of the house was found destroyed by the fire, disclosed fire personnel.
Though the Cuncolim police has registered a case of unnatural death, it could not be ascertained how the deceased, Marcelina Gomes died in the fire which also spread to the house as well.
Sources said the deceased was staying alone in the house.
The Cuncolim police are investigating.
