New English in finals

New English Higher Secondary School, Mandrem scored an easy 5-0 win over Don Bosco High School, Tuem to enter into the finals of inter-school Under-17 Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament for Pernem taluka at Pernem on Saturday. The winners led 4-0 in the first half.
Ashish opened the account for New English in the 7th minute through a solo effort, and completed his brace in the 12thminute off a pass from Devidas.
Cajetan Fernandes consolidated the lead, while Alister scored the fourth goal before the break.
Changing over, Devidas Shatroji netted the fifth goal off a goalmouth melee.
