We travel everyday by train to Vasco. There is a railway crossing at Cansaulim. The train coming from Kulem halts at Cansaulim Station at 7:45 am. As it comes first it halts on second track, and waits for the train coming from Vasco, going to Kulem. As our train comes first, we have to step down from the station and walk through the tracks and the stones to get into the train. And as the ladies compartment is always further, we have to walk a lot, and then climb into the train holding the handles on the door.
This is every-day story. Some of the ladies having knee problems find this everyday routine very difficult.
It is suggested that the crossing could take place either in Majorda or in Sankole, thereby both the trains can be halted at the station in Cansaulim simultaneously. It is our humble request to the Railway Authority to look into the matter urgently and solve this problem permanently.
