VASCO: Agitated residents of Zuarinagar have raised their strong objection to the installation of a new mobile tower on the terrace of a building in the MES College residential area.
According to the people from MES College residential area in Zuarinagar, they came to know that a mobile tower has been installed on the terrace of the building. The occupants of the building had opposed the installation of a mobile tower near the MEC College junction and have unanimously resolved not to allow any mobile towers in the vicinity of the MES College junction as the high levels of radiation from the towers is affecting public health.
A local speaking on the condition of anonymity alleged that some occupants of the building have allowed the installation of mobile tower for their selfish gains.
The residents have urged the panchayat to initiate stern action against the occupants, who have installed the mobile tower despite public opposition.
The residents also threatened to stage a mass protest if the panchayat fails to take action against the company for installing the mobile tower despite people’s objection.
