Annawaddo sneak past Saipem

Annawaddo prevailed over Saipem Sports Club 1-0 to move into the pre-quarterfinals of Babazin memorial inter-ward soccer tournament, organised by Saipem Sports Club, Candolim, at Dr Gustavo Monteiro stadium, Candolim on Sunday.
Both teams were goalless at half time.
Annawaddo and Saipem played attacking soccer right from start, but were unlucky to find success.
Striker Elvis Pereira scored the all-important goal in the 11th minute with a brilliant chip from a 20-yard distance, which shocked Saipem goalkeeper Ricardo Cardozo.
In the dying minutes, Saipem dominated with crisp passes and dribbles, but were unable to find the target.
