PANJIM: GFDC Arpora beat GFDC Parra, 3-2 in a U-10 boy’s match played at Parra ground in the on-going GFDC Rising Star football festival, on Sunday.
Zico secured a brace and Arthur netted one for GFDC Arpora.
In a U-13 boy’s match played at the same venue GFDC Arpora and GFDC Parra drew, 1-1.
In Zone 2, GFDC Siolim beat GFDC Vagator, 3-2 at Siolim ground in a U-10 boy’s match.
GFDC Siolim thrashed GFDC Vagator, 7-2 in a U-13 boys match played at the same venue. GFDC Siolim and GFDC Vagator played out a goalless draw in the U-13 girl’s match.
Earlier, GFDC Pernem thrashed GFDC Colvale, 5-0 in a U-13 boys match.
Deep Naik scored a brace for Pernem and was adjusted as the player of the match. Whereas the other scorers were Pratik Mayekar, Aryan Kambli and Suryakant Konadkar.
In another U-13 boys match at the same venue GFDC Mandrem defeated GFDC Colvale, 2-0.
Chandrakanth Gadekar scored both the goals for the Mandrem side.
In a U-10 boys match GFDC Mandrem defeated GFDC Colvale, 4-1 and GFDC Arambol drub GFDC Colvale, 2-0.
In Zone 1, GFDC Arambol defeated GFDC Mandrem, 2-0 in a U-13 girls match played at Mandrem ground. The goal scorers were Larya Fernandes and Glenfa Rodrigues.
In a U-10 boys match at the same venue GFDC Arambol held GFDC Mandrem to a goalless draw. Whereas in a U-13 boys match GFDC Arambol and GFDC Mandrem drew, 1-1.
