MAPUSA: Assonora United came from behind to hold St Dominic Savio Sports Club, Calvim to a 1-1 draw in the GFA’s U-16 league match, at Nachinola ground, here, on Sunday.
Sydney D’Mello put St Dominic into the lead in the 17th minute after getting hold of a loose
ball and unleashed a powerful right-footer which found no answer from the rival keeper.
On resumption, Assonora tried their level best to level terms and were rewarded in the 57th minute of play when Yuvraj Gad powerful strike landed into the far corner of the rival goal.
