Calangute Association dominated the proceedings in the first half and took the lead in 18th minute through Blake Haldankar as the strikers rasping shot gave the rival custodian no chance. Pedro Gonsalves came up with the assist.
Subsequently, Calangute Association doubled their advantage in the 34th minute as Blake secured his brace.
Post resumption, Calangute Association continued their dominance and but Alex Fernandes shot wide after being fed by George D’Souza.
Cuncolim Union did show promise but Clinton Fernandes’ grounder was blocked by the rival keeper in the 40th minute.
Eight minutes later, Pedro made it 3-0 off an assists by Alex.
In the 56th minute, Calangute Association scored their fourth goal through Pedro’s solo effort that took the rival defence by surprise.
