PANJIM: The tournament’s favourite duo Charmaine Godinho and Melanie Chowgule played out an entertaining match against Saumya Sukhtankar and Nitsa Murthy. Bringing their ‘A’ game to the court Charmaine and Melanie emerged victorious (6-3, 6-1) and grabbed Women’s Double title, in Cidade de Goa open tournament held at Bambolim, on Saturday.
The popular Under 12 Girls category saw Simran Bundela triumph over Anushka Abhilash(4-0, 4-1) claiming the title. Bulu Godinho won the Veteran Single by taking down Noel Noronha (6-0, 6-2).
