PANJIM: Churchill Brothers SC scored a fluent 4-0 win over Ambelim SC in the GFA Vedanta Women’s League played at Ambelim ground, on Monday.
After a nervy start it was Churchill Brothers SC who took the lead in the 15th minute through Leincy Peixoto. Once up by a goal Churchill Brothers dominated and pinned their oppenets in their own half and scored their second in the 25th minute through Chelsea Crasto.
Ambelim SC were totally out-played in all the departments of the game by the Varca based team. Jerisa Andrade scored team’s third goal in the 46th minute before Laura E scored the team’s fourth goal in the 60th minute. Churchill Brothers SC Jerisa Andrade bagged the Player of the Match award.
