MARGAO: Sporting Club of Davorlim prevailed over Parish Youth Nuvem 4-2 via the tie-breaker to storm into the semi-finals of St Anthony’s UK Cup Super Soccer tournament organized by St Anthony’s Sports Club, Colva at DSYA ground, Colva, Wednesday. There was no score at full time.
Both teams played attacking football and kept the crowd on their toes. Both had equal numbers of chances but the goalkeepers were outstanding under the bar.
In the tie-breaker, Sachin Ashtekar, Venson Figueiredo, Melwyn Figueiredo and Benny Rodrigues were on target for Sporting while Neves Noronha and Richard Dias converted for Parish Youth.
