PANJIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda managed to get better of Fr. Angel SC Paroda 6-5 via the tie-breaker in the Our Lady of Fatima Cup, Dicarpale football tournament.
The match was locked in a 2-2 draw in regulation time after which the penalty shoot out was resorted to break the deadlock.
During the proceedings of the match Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda found the nets through Avelino Faleiro in the 7th minute.
Fr. Agnel SC Paroda in a counter attack after suffering their first reverse managed to find the nets of Boscos through Edwin D’costa to equalised in the 9th minute and later shot in to the lead through Ramchra Gaunkar in the 47th minute.
Danny Dias of Don Bosco Oratory notched the equaliser for his team in the 57th minute.
In the penalty shoot out, Fr. Angel SC managed to find the nets only on three occasions through Anthony Dias, Edwin Dcosta and Ramchandra Gaunkar.
While Don Bosco Ortary scored four of their five shots through Remy Araujo, Wilson Dias, Savio Quadros and Clencio Pinto to merge victorious.
