MARGAO: Enfermos Sports Club, Sinquetim stunned CRC, Chinchinim 7-6 via sudden death to march into the quarterfinal of Honey Bee Friendship Cup inter village football tournament organized by Salcete Football Club at Sinquetim ground, Navelim on Friday. Both the teams were locked goalless at the end of regulation period.
In the penalty shoot out, Berwyn Telles, Rosbud Telles, Allister Gomes ,Alchan Gomes, Alvito Colaco, and Alroy Rodrigues were on target for Enfermos while Vicky Fernandes , Cletus Pereira, Nickson Rebello, Jorax Fernandes, and Nerlon Fernandes converted for CRC In the sudden death Kongley Costa was success full for Enfermos while Domingos Rebello failed for CRC.
