PANJIM: The one-month summer Football Camp organised by Socorro Socio-Art and Cultural Club, Socorro-Porvorim , in association with Goa Football Development Council was inaugurated by Dr Rufino Monteiro, Chairman, GFDC in the presence of MLA Rohan Khaunte, Fr Santan Carvalho, sarpanch Sheetal Arolkar at Socorro church ground on Sunday. In all, 120 children will receive training from a team of coaches from GFDC. Fr Carvalho, Lazarus Pinto, president of Socorro Socio Art and Cultural Association, MLA Khuante, the special guest spoke. Former footballers Augustine Dias, John Coutinho, Damu Kerkar, Melvin Rodrigues attended the function.
