Gauravaddo A defeated Maddavaddo B 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of Calangute Panchayat Cup inter-ward football tournament organised by Calangute Association at Poriat ground, Calangute on Friday.
Due to soggy outfield, the players were unable to rise to the occasion. Gauravaddo A shot into the lead through Pankay Shirodker while Vijay Parsekar doubled the lead in the second half.
