PANJIM: FC Goa will aim for full points when they take on Jamshedpur FC at their fortress, the PJN Stadium, Fatorda, on Thursday.

It’s the long awaited home game for the Gaurs who have had to play three away encounters, winning two and losing one.
Jamshedpur FC are Shield champions and FC Goa go into the match on the back of defeat to Hyderabad.
However, with six points in the kitty, the Gaurs have had the best start since the 2017-18 season.
FC Goa play at home after 972 days. Interestingly, Carlos Pena, who was a part of the XI when they last played in front of packed stands at Fatorda, is currently the club’s head coach.
Currently positioned fifth in the standings, a win over Jamshedpur FC will propel Pena’s boys to second place.
“Jamshedpur FC are a good side. They may have a new coach and may have lost some key players — but more importantly, they’ve managed to retain their core,” Carlos Pena said in the pre-match press conference on Wednesday.
