RAIA: Patrong Sports Club scored a solitary goal victory over United Youth Club of Bogmalo in the Goa Football Association Division II League Mormugao Zone match played at Tilak Maidan, Vasco, on Friday.
In a match, which seemed to be meandering towards a goalless draw, Rohan Rathod gleefully converted from the spot almost at the death (90+2’) to earn full points for Patrong SC.

Parish Youth Nuvem defeated Curtorim Gymkhana 2-0 to enter into the quarter-finals of Fernando Abranches Trophy inter-village football tournament played at Verna panchayat ground, on Friday. Albino Pereira gave the lead to PY Nuvem in the 14th minute, while Francis Colaco doubled it in the 37th minute.
Vaidya Cup: Garden Angel SC in quarter-finals
Garden Angel SC entered the quarter-finals defeating United Club of Seraulim 4-3 via tie-breaker in the 2nd Vaidya Family Cup played at government school playground, Cuncolim, on Friday. Full time score was 0-0.
In the tie-breaker, Guardian Angel SC scored through Valentino Carvalho, Godwin Da Costa, Imson Fernandes and Daniel D’Costa. United Club of Seraulim netted through Floscio Fernandes, Ashley Fernandes and Selroy Fernandes.
