Goans sailors reign supreme on Day 3

DONA PAULA: Dayne Coelho took all 3 guns to finish third overall in the RS:X category at the end of day 3 of the All India Board Sailing Championship 2019 organised by Goa Yachting Association, at Dona Paula, on Saturday.
Jerome of AYN Mumbai had equipment failure and had to abandon race 8. However he was able to maintain his overall lead by coming second in race 9 and race 10. While Manpreet Singh maintained his second position overall.
In the RS:X Youth category, Devesh Kumar Shukla of EMESC Bhopal took all 3 guns to establish a lead over Sachin Ganesh and Ishwariya Ganesh of TNSA, Tamil Nadu. While in the Techno 293 OD Youth category Keona Rajani reigned supreme by winning three out of the 4 races while Avelino Fernandes took second place.
In the Raceboard category, Katya Coelho beat the men and took the gun in the first race of the day. In the Raceboard Grandmasters category Gopal Amin consolidated his lead over Cdr. Madhulal Sharma of INWTC Kochi who is 2nd and Capt. Harish Chandra Patro is currently in 3rd position. While in the Masters category Ghanshyam from BSSC Uttarakhand, Capt. Suresh Babu of INWTC Goa are in first and second place respectively. In the Raceboard Juniors category Adarsh Chunekar of GYA, Shurya Raina of INWTC Goa and Pearl Colvalkar of GYA Goa maintained their positions respectively.
