VASCO: The Taekwondo Academy of Vasco in association with the Taekwondo Association of Goa will organise the 4th India Open National Taekwondo Championship December 13 to 15, at the Peddem Sports Complex, Karaswada, Mapusa.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will inaugurate the championship in the presence of Sports Minister Govind Gaude.

The championship will be live telecast on DD Sports and will be held in two categories – Kyorugi (fighting) and Poomsae (presentation). Athletes from across the country will compete in age divisions including Mini Sub-Junior (U-8 years), Sub-Junior (U-12), Cadet (U-14), Junior (U-17) and Senior (U-17 and above) for both male and female. Players will vie for 450 medals, showcasing their skills and determination.
