MARGAO: Joel Gonsalves of Maximum Muscles Gym, Fatorda, won the Mr Madgao, Champion of Champion titles at the All Goa Bodybuilding Championship organised by Youth of Aquem-Malbhat in association with the Goa Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, at
Margao, recently.
The championship was held under the leadership of Yogiraj Digambar Kamat and under guidance of former chief minister Digambar Kamat supported by Model Margao.
The Goa Bodybuilding and Fitness Association recognised by the Indian Body Builders Federation, Goa Sports Authority and Goa Olympic Association successfully conducted the championship held in different categories – Masters, Men’s and Women’s Physique Sports etc.
Other results: Best poser Aakash Pawar (Fitness House, Ribandar). Most improved body builder Toushif Kalatgee (Core Fitness Centre). Men’s physique title winner Varad Parab (SAG Mapusa). Women’s title winner Olivia Coutinho.
Team championship Infinity Gym Margao.
Master category above 50 years: 1st place Sudarshan Girap, 2nd place Gurudas naik, 3rd place Luis Barreto and 4th place Bharamanna Katliman.
Men’s physique sports: 1st place Varad Parab, 2nd Chetan Shetkar, 3rd place Akhil Naik, 4th place Shivanand Gaude and 5th place Hassan Hubliwala.
Women’s physique sports: 1st place Olivia Coutinho, 2nd place Muskan Shaik and 3rd place Nelisha Barreto.
Body building 55kg: 1st place Neston Barreto, 2nd place Dishant Goankar, 3rd place Sagar Roy, 4th place Ali Khazi, 5th place Manav Kunkolkar. 60kg: 1st place Abhishek Yadav, 2nd place Rajesh Katekar, 3rd place Pravin Madkaikar,
4th place Sydney Monteiro, 5th place Narayan Mandrekar. 65kg: 1st place Toushif Kalatgee, 2nd place Raju Teli, 3rd place Akshay Mulgaonkar, 4th place Laljit Chaudhary, 5th place Sanjeva Saibana.
