CURTORIM: Maina SC moved into the semi-finals after defeating Sao Jose de Areal 4-3 via the tie-breaker in the Curtorim Villagers Cup, organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at DSYA ground, Curtorim, on Wednesday.
Maina SC scored their first goal through Veron Fernandes in 21st minute after receiving a pass from Joy Hilario.

Areal scored the equaliser in 28th minute through Liston D’Costa after a fine cross by Milton Gomindes to make 1-1 in the first half.
In second half, both the teams created chances but could not convert as the match ended 1-1.
In the tie-breaker, Maina SC scored through Joywin, Edwin and Joliston while Bersel and Stalen netted Sao Jose de Areal.
