MARGAO: Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim scored a hard fought solitary goal victory over OL of Rosary High School, Fatorda to emerge champs in the Salcete Tauluka U-17 girls inter-school Nehru hockey tournament, at Panchayat ground, Davorlim, on Monday.
Both the teams played at a brisk pace, displaying artistic skills which kept the crowds on their toes. The all-important goal of the match was scored by Annette Da Costa.
Reshma Chanekar, Headmistress of Government HS, Davorlim was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Ashok Lotlikar and Bevlin Rodrigues, TSO of Salcete taluka.
