GVM’s won the toss and elected to bat scoring 145 runs and losing five wickets in allotted 20 overs. Avishkar Mone top scored with 54 runs while Rajas Prabhu remained 18 not out. Aman Naik (16) and Akash Phadte (14) also made vital contributions. Saurav Shetgaonkar (2/17) and Sanket Morajkar (2/30) bowled well for the opposition.
In reply, R.M. Salgaocar chased the total in 19.1 overs with a score of 145/5. Suyash Prabhudessai’s 52 runs stood out for the winners ahead of Nihal Surlekar’s 35 runs, Shivam Amonkar’s 16 and Sanket Morajkar’s 18. Mayur Tilve (2/35), Sujay Gaonkar (1/22) and Sohan Naik (1/22) tried hard to restrict their the rivals.
The man-of-the-match and man-of-the-series was awarded to Suyash Prabhudessai, best batsman to Kashyap Bakhle and best bowler to Somesh Prabhudessai.
