MAPUSA/RAIA: Agassaim Youth Club registered a comfortable 2-0 win over Portais Sporting Club in the Goa Football Association’s Division II Ilhas Zone League match played at Taleigao ground, on Sunday.
Sanket Jotkar netted both the goals in the second session of play for the winners.

Angel SC, South Goa
Utd secure wins
Guardian Angel SC defeated Vasco SC 2-1 in the Goa Football Association U-13 Division I League match played at Betalbatim Church ground, on Monday.
Roman Rebelo and Joslan Oliveira scored for Guardian Angel SC, while Jaiwant Khobrekar reduced the margin for Vasco SC.
In another match played at Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, South Goa United Club SC edged past Sporting Clube de Goa 4-3.
Stanslaus Costa, Savion Fernandes, Mohammad Asif Mirchi and Snyder Simoes scored a goal each for South Goa United, while Samarth Korgaonkar scored a brace and Medan Pereira was the other scorer for Sporting Clube de Goa.
Women’s League:
Aniela stars for Livval Sporting
Livval Sporting Association thumped Patrong SC 6-0 in the Goa Football Association-Vedanta Women’s League match at SAG ground, Benaulim, on Monday.
Aniela Barreto scored fifer and substitute Jossel Mascarenhas scored one goal. Delaila D’Souza of Patrong SC added one self-goal in Livval goals tally of six.
U-17 Elite I League: FC Goa
upset Sesa FA
Young Gaurs started out their U-17 Elite I AIFF League campaign with a resounding 3-1 win over Sesa Football Academy in the match played at Sirsaim ground.
FC Goa came strongly into the match by scoring all their three goals in the first session of play.
Lesvin scored a brace in the 11th and 43th minute. Ruell got on the score sheet with a well-placed goal in the 45th minute for the third goal. Sesa FA came into the second session with renewed ideas and managed to reduce the margin in the 64th minute to make it 3-1 and put some pressure on the FC Goa defence.
However, the Gaurs soaked the pressure well and held out for the win.
