MAPUSA: Siolim Veterans huffed and puffed to outplay Goa Police Veterans 3-1 in the tie-breaker to enter the final of All Goa Veterans football tournament organised by Bardez Veterans at Dr Gustavo Monteiro ground, Candolim.
The teams were locked in a goalless draw at the end of the regulation time.
In the penalty shoot-out, Siolim Veterans scored 3-1.
Earlier, hosts Bardez Veterans edged past Calangute Veterans by 5-3 margin via tie-breaker.
Both goals came in the second session of play. Bardez took the lead through Trevor, while in the dying moments of the match Calangute colts equalised through a penalty being scored by Marcus. In the tie-breaker, Bardez proved to be the better shooters.
Siolim Veterans now will meet Bardez Veterans in final on December 18.
