PANJIM: SS Angle Higher Secondary School defeated Kamakshi Higher Secondary School, Curti-Ponda 10-0 in the final of the South Goa Inter-HSS Boys Baseball tournament, organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda-Margao, recently.
After winning the toss, SS Angle decided to field. Kamakshi HSS could not score a single home due to good pitching by Shivam and catching by Akhil. SS Angle scored 10 homes in the first innings and they were declared winners.
In the semi-final, SS Angle defeated Shiroda HSS 13-2. Aman, Nehal, Shivam, Gouresh, completed two homes each while Akhil, Saiesh, Suraj, Lennin Pratik scored one home each in both the matches.
The team will play the final against the winners of the North Goa.
