Vednam XI Sports Club defeated Jolly Boys to lift the Vincent Lobo Memorial floodlit cricket Trophy, organised by Britto’s Sports Club, at Britto’s ground, Parra.
Vednam received the winners’ prize of Rs 12,000 while Jolly Boys had to be content with Rs 8,000.Following prizes were awarded: Best batsman – Rajesh, Vednam. Best Bowler: Sandesh, Vednam.
Laxman Parab Palyekar, Calangute sarpanch was the chief guest while Michael Lobo, Saligao ZP was the guest of honour.
