PANJIM: Goa’s Xavier D’Souza won two more medals in swimming at the Khelo India School Games which are underway in New Delhi, on Sunday to take his personal tally to 5 medals comprising of a gold, 3 silver and a bronze.
Xavier won a silver medal in 50mt.back stroke with the timing of 0.27.80. He won a bronze medal in the 100mt. Freestyle with the timing of 0.54.63.
Meanwhile in boxing, Prachi Kerkar qualified for the quarter-finals which will held on Monday.
Three Goan boxers have qualified for quarter-finals which will held on February 6 and are in medal contention.
